HZLISY silk lasts with cool water, a mild detergent and no wringing. Use this as a general guide; the care note on each product page takes priority if it differs.
Start gently
Use clean hands. Keep silk away from rough denim, sharp jewellery and Velcro that can catch the weave.
Keep it cool
Hand wash, or machine-wash on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, with a silk or pH-neutral detergent. No bleach. No fabric softener.
Be patient
Press out water with a towel. Do not wring. Lay flat or hang away from direct sun and radiators. Iron on low only when the cloth is still slightly damp, with a pressing cloth.
Give it space
Store clean, dry silk away from sharp hardware and strongly dyed items that may transfer colour.
Scrunchies, scarves and pillowcases are all mulberry silk, but trims and closures differ. If in doubt, email info@hzlisy.com with the product name.
